On May 12th 2025, at approximately 9:35 AM, the terrorist military junta launched an unprovoked aerial attack on a school in Oe Htein Twin village, located in Tabayin Township, Sagaing.While students were preparing to sit for their exams, a fighter jet that took off from Meiktila Shante airbase deliberately targeted the school.
The attack resulted in the tragic loss of 22 innocent lives, including 2 volunteer teachers and 20 students, ranged from grade 2 to grade 11, with the youngest student being only 7 years old. Additionally, more than 40 people were injured.(still under investigation)
