Ministry of Human Rights since its establishment has strived for documentation of human rights violations, ending culture of impunity and mainstreaming human rights standards in the whole operations of the National Unity government.

Documenting and analysing human rights violations by the military council, communicating with the international human rights mechanisms and leading the government’s initiatives on human rights.

ရိုဟင်ဂျာ အရေး ရပ်တည်ချက်စာတမ်း ဆွေးနွေးရေးဆွဲရာတွင် ပါဝင်ခြင်း၊ စစ်သည်များ လိုက်နာရမည့် ကျင့်ဝတ်များ ပြုစုခြင်းတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သည်။The ministry also leads the implementation and consultation on Universal Periodic Review (UPR). (Universal Periodic Review – UPR) တွင် ဦးဆောင်အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ခြင်း၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂတွင် အသိအမှတ်ပြုမှု ရရှိစေရန် ပြင်ဆင်ခြင်းတို့ကို အလေးထားဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည်။

The ministry made public statements and joint statements on 100 Days of Military Coup, World Refugees Day, International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Pride Month celebration, Violations of Child Rights and on the military council’s response on Covid-19 third wave.

The ministry also published situation reports on Karrenni State and on LGBTIQs against the military coup.

Factsheets about death sentences given to underage children, LGBTIQs in anti-coup movement, death sentences during the coup period, oppression against media, Debayin massacre, violence against women and torture to death cases.

The ministry has set collaboration with civil society organizations as a policy and is currently collaborating with CSOs in human rights documentation and UPR process.
